Privacy Policy

Last updated: 16 June 2026

The short version: David requires no account, shows no ads, and does not track you or your child. Game progress, stars and settings are stored only on your device. We do not collect, sell, or share any personal information.

1. Who this policy covers

This Privacy Policy explains how the David — From Shepherd to King mobile game ("David", "the game", "the app", "we", "us" or "our") handles information when you or your child play it. By using the game you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the game.

2. Information we collect

We do not collect personal information. David has no user accounts and no login. We do not ask for a name, email address, phone number, or any other personally identifying information, and we do not operate servers that store information about you.

We also do not use any analytics, advertising, crash-reporting, or behavioural-tracking technologies. The game contains no third-party advertising or tracking SDKs, and no in-game purchases.

3. Data stored on your device

To make the game work, David saves a small amount of information locally on your device only. This data never leaves the device unless you explicitly back it up yourself. It includes:

This information is held in your device's local app storage. You can erase all of it at any time by clearing the game's data or uninstalling the game. Uninstalling permanently deletes this data from your device.

4. Network connections

David is designed to play fully offline. The game does not send your progress or any personal data over the internet, and the entire adventure runs on your device.

5. Device permissions

The game uses minimal device features, each only for the stated purpose:

David does not request access to your camera, microphone, contacts, photos or location.

6. Third-party services

David does not integrate third-party advertising, analytics, or social-login services. If you download the game from an app store (such as the Apple App Store or Google Play), that store's own privacy practices apply to your download and are outside our control.

7. Children's privacy

David is a family-friendly game enjoyed by children. Because the game does not collect any personal information from anyone, it does not knowingly collect personal information from children. We have designed the game to comply with child-privacy laws such as the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the EU GDPR by simply collecting nothing at all. There are no ads, no external links presented to players, and no chat or social features.

8. Your rights & choices

Because all game data is stored locally on your device and we hold nothing about you on our side, you remain in full control at all times. You can:

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA. Since we do not collect or hold your personal data, there is no personal information for us to access, correct, or delete on your behalf — but you are welcome to contact us with any questions (see section 11).

9. Data security

Your data is protected by your device's own security model (such as your passcode, biometric lock and operating-system sandboxing). Because we never receive any personal data, it cannot be exposed by a breach of our systems.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example to reflect new game features or legal requirements. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the game after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
